Will companies automatically receive my phone number?+
No. Under the proposed Handy Homes process, a project summary may be discussed without your personal contact details. Each direct introduction requires your permission.
Can I compare multiple quotes?+
That is the goal. Availability depends on your location, project scope and participating companies. Some providers need an inspection to give a final price.
Does Handy Homes employ the contractor doing the work?+
Not necessarily. Handy Homes helps you explore options. Any service agreement and work are between you and your selected provider, unless specifically stated otherwise.
Are all companies licensed and certified?+
Requirements differ by trade and state. Handy Homes intends to verify applicable licensing, insurance and relevant qualifications for providers in its network. A course-completion card, such as OSHA training, is not a substitute for a trade license.
Does it cost anything to use Handy Homes?+
Any homeowner fees, if applicable, should be disclosed before you agree. Pricing and referral disclosures must be finalized before the live service launches.
